ABOUT YASHA TULCHINSKY
|
- Yasha Tulchinsky was born in Russia and started playing the violin at age 6.
- He earned his Masters Degree in Music from the world famous St. Petersburg Conservatory.
- His teachers were Eugene Kramaroff, Schiffmann and I. Etigon.
- Upon graduation from Conservatory, Yasha worked as a Principal Viola player at the St. Petersburg Theater of Opera and Ballet.
- He came in the United States in 1979 to pursue his career in music. In the meantime, he started working for a violin shop and learned about repair and restoration of string instruments.
- He was trained by his brother, violin maker, Alexander, who was awarded a Silver Medal for violin tone at the 14th International Competition.
- Professional violinist with a focus on quality.
